Joyful Music Productions
Joyful Music Productions began in 2015. Our shows are created and directed by music therapists. Our cast consists of individuals with special needs, ages 9 and up, and our Songbird volunteers.
Cast members learn how to act, sing, and dance. Cast members memorize all songs, dances, and lines from the script. They help make props and backdrops. At the end of each camp, participants perform what they have learned in a show for the community. They get the full experience of being in a musical theatre production!
We set high expectations for our cast members and provide many opportunities for each cast member to shine like a star! This experience increases social skills, self-regulation, verbal skills, attention, turn-taking, and increases self-esteem.
